Malaga has the mildest winter in Europe
Malaga has more than 300 sunny days per year. Even when it’s not summer, temperatures here are constantly between 17 and 28 degrees (62-82 Fahrenheit). You can spend pleasant evenings in southern Spain, enjoying a good talk and a dinner by the sea.
From November to March the province of Malaga is probably the best place in Europe to be. No coincidence at all that more and more Northern Europeans spend their winters here, on Costa del Sol and Axarquía.
To be super honest, this is one of the things that also convinced us to move our entire family all the way and establish our home here.
One thing is true – during the winter season the temperatures are less predictable and the weather can change quite drastically from one day to the next. But as a general rule, keep in mind there is no sunnier and warmer place in Europe during the cold days.

Winter weddings in Malaga are more budget friendly
Winter weddings in Malaga offer indeed more budget-friendly options. Venues in the province significantly reduce their prices starting from November and until the end of March.
Moreover, flights to the south of Spain are much cheaper during the winter season due to lower demand than during the summer. You can also find reduced prices for accommodations all over the province, including the Costa del Sol, Malaga area, and the eastern part of the province, such as Nerja, the jewel of Axarquía.
